CUPA Salary Data
With Budget Call right around the corner and new faculty hiring taking place this time of year, the Office of Academic Affairs Budget and Personnel is sending the 2016-17 CUPA data to you again for your faculty salary benchmarking needs.
This should be useful when requesting new faculty positions with the Budget Call process and when negotiating for search candidate finalists, in addition to, referring to your internal departmental benchmarks.
There are four tabs. The first tab compares the salaries of our tenured/tenure track faculty to those of our official peers. The second tab compares our non-tenure track teaching faculty to those of our official peers. The third tab compares tenured/tenure track faculty with all doctoral public institutions and the fourth tab compares our non-tenure track teaching faculty with all doctoral public institutions.
1) Peers-TT Faculty — These are the tenured/tenure track faculty compared with our 17 official peers.
2) Peers-NTT Teaching — The same as #1, but for Non-Tenure Track Teaching faculty.
3) Doctoral Public-TT Faculty — These are the tenured/tenure track faculty compared with 104 doctoral public institutions who participated in the salary survey.
4) Doctoral Public-NTT Teaching — Same as #3, but for Non-Tenure Track Teaching Faculty.
