Join us for the Center for the Study of the New South’s Annual Levine Lecture, this year featuring Dr. Bill Andrews of UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Andrews will discuss his book, Slavery and Class in the American South: A Generation of Slave Narrative Testimony, 1840-1865 (2019; New York: Oxford University Press). The lecture will be held at the Levine Museum of the New South 200 E 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28202.
