Operating Policies
The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences is committed to the value of shared governance. The College Bylaws, developed by faculty committee, were ratified by the majority of the college faculty.
The College Bylaws provide operating guidelines for the Faculty, administrative officers, Councils, and Standing Committees of the College, including provisions for such organizational arrangements and procedures as are necessary for the orderly conduct of the College’s business. The workload policy provides guidance to departments in determining the distribution of faculty work in the areas of research and creative activity, teaching, service/leadership, and engagement. For more information, see: Workload Policy
